★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Assolutamente una sorpresa piacevolissima, un ristorante che pur essendo moderno nello stile, conserva ricette e piatti sorprendenti, di grande tradizione incredibilmente freschi e generosi, prodotti di grande qualità vino perfetto, posto accogliente e cosa che lo contraddistingue sopratutto di questi tempi "la gentilezza" del personale. Tornerò presto per continuare la mia scoperta di tutti i piatti che ho visto.. Grazie
 Absolutely a very pleasant surprise, a restaurant that despite being modern in style, preserves surprising recipes and dishes, incredibly fresh and generous, of great tradition, products of great quality, perfect wine, welcoming place and what distinguishes it especially in these times "kindness" of the staff. I'll be back soon to continue my discovery of all the dishes I've seen .. Thanks

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono ritornata a Marghera dopo molto tempo e per casa sono entrata al Barkala per pranzare, per la prima volta ho visto Marghera con altri occhi felice di trovarmi in quei luoghi. Grazie alla gentilezza che ho trovato e i piatti buonissimi che mi hanno riportato agli anni della mia infanzia quando tutto quello che si mangiava era genuino. Grazie dell'emozione che mi avete donata.
I returned to Marghera after a long time and for home I entered the Barkala to have lunch, for the first time I saw Marghera with other eyes, happy to be in those places. Thanks to the kindness I found and the delicious dishes that took me back to the years of my childhood when everything we ate was genuine. Thanks for the emotion you have given me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ordered the meat and cheese board (two kinds of meat and one kind of cheese) which was fine. But then we ordered the spaghetti with clams and the pasta carbonara. Both were extremely bland and worst of all, the carbonara was topped with chopped up pieces of what seemed like lunch meat ham instead of bacon. We could barely eat 2 bites. Never again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were tourists who came here due to the good reviews. Didn't realise the chef was famous until we saw him doing an interview on TV! The food was fantastic, wine delicious, and the chef was always smiling and friendly. We came back again the next night. Both nights we were the only ones in the dining area, whereas the majority of other guests were enjoying the cicchetti snacks at the bar.
