★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After high anticipation on tasting Messinas best granita at Bar Torino, I was underwhelmed by the less than enthusiastic bar staff. The granita was cheap at €1 a serve and a normal standard for Sicily, which is a shame after the recommendations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In five years their quality never dropped a bit, everyone I go back to Messina I just need to taste their espresso once more. Kind and professional staff as always, they are also proficient in English making it a lovely pinpoint for tourists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality granita con panna e biroche (1 to 2.5€) with many flavors: chocolate, pistachio, strawberry, etc. while hazelnut is the best one. Cheaper than other shop: coffee only 50 cents and big ice cream cone with 1.60€. A lot of locals love this place and so do I.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very reasonable prices, only a few minutes walk from the port, amazing lemon granita con brioche. Try strawberry and peach flavour also. Very cheap coffee from 0.50 only. Table service not available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their granita is giving me an extra life. This bar should be a national treasure in Messina because it can't get better than this.
The waitress gave us all granitas to taste and recommended to eat it with panna - my personal favourite is pistachio. Order that and you're in heaven.
Perfect service, amazing coffee and probably the best dolci I've ever had.
