In particolare ho avuto il piacere di assaggiare un tipo di pasta fatta a mano, le foiade, prima con uno squisito sugo di baccalà, poi con i bocconcini di capriolo. L'ambiente è informale ed accogliente; la pulizia ottima. Ultima ma non meno importante la posizione incantevole, in mezzo ai prati, a pochi minuti di cammino dal parcheggio degli impianti di sci. Ad un anno di distanza dalla mia prima visita, ho avuto il piacere di constatare che il menù si è rinnovato con piatti deliziosi. Tra i primi segnalo i pizzoccheri ai mirtilli, il cestino di ravioli con pecorino dolce (ripieni di pecorino e fichi) e gli spaghetti alla selvaggina. Come secondi è da provare la polenta con porcini trifolati. Ottimi anche i bocconcini di cervo in salmì, che io ho scelto di accompagnare con una squisita polenta taragna Located in a renovated log cabin, this rustic restaurant offers dishes cooked with care and professionalism. In particular, I had the pleasure of tasting a type of handmade pasta, foiade, first with an exquisite cod sauce, then with venison bites. The environment is informal and welcoming; excellent cleaning. Last but not least, the enchanting position, in the middle of the meadows, just a few minutes' walk from the ski lifts parking lot. A year after my first visit, I had the pleasure of seeing that the menu has been renewed with delicious dishes. Among the first I point out the pizzoccheri with blueberries, the basket of ravioli with sweet pecorino (stuffed with pecorino and figs) and spaghetti with game. Sarò campanilista perché Valtorta e anche a ceresola sono le mie origini... Ma provare per credere!!!!! Definitely come back and forth, excellent cuisine as well as the service, plus it is located in a charmingly quiet and simple place ... I will be parochial because Valtorta and also in Ceresola are my origins ... But seeing is believing !!!!!

Hanno soprattutto ricette tipiche della zona come i pizzoccheri con mirtilli e formaggio d'alpeggio assolutamente da provare. Rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo imbattibile. Un posto immerso fra le piste di Valtorta che ti permette di mangiare in assoluta pace e tranquillità. Consigliato sia per chi viene da Piani di Bobbio, un'ora circa di camminata, che per chi viene da Valtorta Cozy place with very nice and courteous staff. Delicious dishes with generous portions.
