★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alla pasticceria San Francesco si respira un’aria d’altri tempi, della tradizione calabrese quella vera.
Il locale, situato alle porte del paese (appena dopo l’ospedale), è a conduzione famigliare con il signor Filippo in laboratorio e sua moglie, gentilissima, al bar.
Tutti prodotti dolciari buonissimi, preparati secondo la tradizione: torrone di mandorle morbido e duro, cremoso alle noci, susumelle, mustaccioli, ossa dei morti e tanti altri.
Sono pochi i posti del genere che resistono ancora.. Andate a trovarli!
At the San Francesco pastry shop you can breathe an air of other times, the real Calabrian tradition.
The restaurant, located on the outskirts of the village (just after the hospital), is family-run with Mr. Filippo in the laboratory and his very kind wife at the bar.
All delicious confectionery products, prepared according to tradition: soft and hard almond nougat, creamy with walnuts, susumelle, mustaccioli, bones of the dead and many others.
There are few places like this that still resist .. Go and find them!
