Meglio farle piccole, piuttosto che grandi e scondite. €1,80 al pezzo eccessivo per la qualità del prodotto. La frittura, comunque, risulta asciutta e poco unta. Rimane tra le poche pasticcerie che continua a fare oltre alla versione mignon anche le porzioni maxi di ogni specialità. Lasciati attrarre dal profiterole, dall’africano, dalle cassatelle e da tanto altro. Devo dire che non solo le arancine sono molto buone, ma tutto ciò che espongono sono di una bontà ineguagliabile e difficile da descrivere. I cannoli, la pasta di mandorle, i calzoni e tutte le paste in genere. Sento molto la mancanza di tutte queste prelibatezze e non vedo l'ora di ritornare a Palermo per fare tappa qui da Russo. I prezzi sono un po' sopra la media, ma del resto anche le dimensioni e la qualità dei pezzi non sono da meno, quindi posso dire che ne valgono fino all'ultimo centesimo (le foto sottostanti parlano da sole). Su consiglio di amici siciliani siamo andati a prendere cannoli ed arancine in quella che doveva essere una delle migliori pasticcerie di Palermo. Dopo aver Specificato ripetutamente ai prorietati che avremmo viaggiato in nave, ci hanno assicurato che i cannoli, anche riempiti, sarebbero arrivati intatti a casa. In più, hanno pensato bene di mettere le arancine bollenti in contenitori di ripiego, costituiti da 2 vassoietti di cartone. Il risultato? Cannoli con scorza della stessa consistenza del ripieno e arancine che hanno l aspetto di un risotto galleggiante nell'olio( quella che nella foto ha ancora la forma di un arancina é l unica delle 8 che era in vetrina e quindi era fredda). Credo che un professionista del settore ci avrebbe fatto quanto meno desistere dal portare le arancine o almeno avrebbe aspettato che queste ultime si fossero raffreddate e, soprattutto, ci avrebbe consegnato i cannoli con la scorza rigorosamente separata dalla ricotta così come fanno probabilmente tutti i professionisti del settore a Palerno, eccetto loro. Evidentemente erano fin troppo interessati ai 39,50€ che gli abbiamo lasciato da dimenticare come si lavora.1 stella é anche troppo! Patisserie of a blatant incompetence. On the advice of Sicilian friends we went to get cannoli and arancine in what must have been one of the best pastry shops in Palermo. After having repeatedly specified to the owners that we would travel by ship, they assured us that the cannoli, even when filled, would arrive home intact. In addition, they have seen fit to put the hot arancine in makeshift containers, consisting of 2 cardboard trays. The result? Cannoli with zest of the same consistency as the filling and arancine that have the appearance of a risotto floating in oil (the one that in the photo still has the shape of an arancina is the only one of the 8 that was in the window and therefore was cold). I believe that a professional in the sector would have made us at least desist from bringing the arancine or at least would have waited until the latter had cooled down and, above all, would have given us the cannoli with the rind strictly separated from the ricotta just as probably all professionals do. sector in Palerno, except them. Evidently they were too interested in the € 39.50 we left them to forget how to work. 1 star is too much!
