★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the Caesar salad, a ham, cheese and artichoke sandwich, a V60 filter coffee, double espresso, a Syrah and a tiramisu. Easily one of the best meals we have had in Milan. Looooved it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got tea you need to discuss with your bestie? A holiday plan to share for when we can travel? Or you want to eat your lunch while reading a book, the working Milanese buzzing around you? Bar Nicol is the place to do all of those things, in the back of the restaurant on a wooden table illuminated by sunlight softly streaming in through the palazzi in the piazza. The mood is chill, the sandwiches are an elevated version of the Italian panino, with unexpected delicious combinations (beetroot salmon and creamy cheese), and the desserts are homemade. You must order the apple crumble if it’s on the menu the day you go. Can’t wait to go back for the version aperitivo when Milan opens again by night. ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small nice bar with tabacco selling corner (infatti è un bar +sali e tabacchi) very friendly owner. Good quality wines to very reasonable prices (6-8€) and the owner knows his stuff :) Also the snacks for rhe aperitivo (almo ds, olives, trarallini) are godd quality food. Mo to Fri open, til 9pm
