β β β β β The place was nice and most of the coffees seemed pretty decent and there was an interesting variety of coffees to choose from, but my experience was marred by a truly bizarre concoction: the grancaffe. It sounded good on paper: zabaglione with a shot of coffee. But when it came, it was just weird and rather off-putting. The zabaglione had curdled and taken on a soft scrambled egg consistency (perhaps a result of the hot espresso hitting cold egg custard). And it smelled/ tasted... Oddly savoury and somewhat like day old lard pastry, only it was sweet and had been freshly made. Very puzzling. I'm sure their other coffees are perfectly fine. According to my companions, their bicerin (a coffee with chocolate sauce) was pleasant, and the marocchino and macchiatone were find as well. It's just the grancaffe.
