★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good gelato next to Perla del Porto. There was one guy who spoke a bit of English, but it is easier to day "un coppa", point at cup you want, and list flavours with e between them "pistacchio e limone e....". Remember to say grazie afterwards!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Catanzaro Lido there are better places where to have a drink. The place, in front of the touristic harbour, is nice. The service is quite slow and the quality of food and drinks is medium. There are posts inside and outside. When the weather is nice, a place outside to take the first sunlight from the Calabria's springtime sun can be relaxing. There is a tent that can be rent for a light refreshment.
