★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personale un po' scortese, cornetti scandalosi, crema al sapore di alito di vecchio, cappuccio mediocre poca schiuma.
Sicuramente per la colazione è sconsigliabile
 Staff a little 'rude, scandalous croissants, cream with the flavor of old breath, mediocre cap, little foam.

Frappe a fragola Si poteva fare di più.
Invece il frappe cioccolato e cocco non è stato proprio buonissimo .la ordinazione è
arrivata dopo 10 min, buono.

Strawberry frappe More could be done.
Instead the chocolate and coconut frappe was not exactly delicious

È il posto ideale dove poter degustare i sapori della Basilicata, grazie alla freschezza delle materie prime. Il menù è ben variegato. Nella magica atmosfera del porto di Maratea, è possibile degustare un pasto a base di pesce fresco, pescato locale, oppure optare per un menù di terra con piatti tipici, imperdibile la ciambotta lucana! Il servizio è preciso e raffinato. Il personale attento e cordiale è capace di mettere a proprio agio qualsiasi commensale.
Wonderful restaurant ... if you are in Maratea you cannot miss the Bar del Porto! It is the ideal place where you can taste the flavors of Basilicata, thanks to the freshness of the raw materials. The menu is very varied. In the magical atmosphere of the port of Maratea, it is possible to taste a meal based on fresh fish, locally caught, or opt for a menu of land with typical dishes, not to be missed is the Lucanian ciambotta! The service is precise and refined. The attentive and friendly staff is able to put any diner at ease.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno dei peggiori bar mai visti. Servizio pessimo 20 minuti di attesa per un toast ed un caffè. Pulizia inesistente. I camerieri dimenticano le comande e litigavano con i clienti. Senza considerare che per la sporcizia che c’era sui tavoli non puliti arrivavano colombe da tutte le parti. Esperienza da dimenticare.
One of the worst bars ever. Bad service 20 minutes wait for toast and coffee. Non-existent cleaning. Waiters forget their orders and argue with customers. Without considering that because of the dirt that was on the uncleaned tables, doves came from all over. Experience to forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il primo impatto è stato con la tovaglia del tavolino sporca con aloni di macchie di precedenti consumazioni.
Il secondo impatto è stato con le attese lunghe e snervanti prima di ordinare e nell’attesa dell’ordinazione e con i camerieri allo sbaraglio con le ordinazioni che andavano di tavolo in tavolo alla ricerca di quello corretto.
Il terzo impatto è stato con una “macedonia di frutta” consistente in dieci pezzi (tagliati alla peggio) di pesca e nocepesca al modico prezzo di € 5,00 ciascuna.
Esasperati decidiamo di non attendere il conto al tavolo e di pagare e prendere il caffè direttamente al banco del bar, ma in quei pochi minuti veniamo continuamente strattonati da camerieri che consegnano vassoi con bicchieri vuoti.
Tirando le somme: due panini, due “macedonie”, una bottiglia di acqua, un caffè per un totale di € 28,00 e poca attenzione per il cliente.
The first impact was with the tablecloth of the table dirty with halos of stains from previous drinks.
The second impact was with the long and nerve-wracking waits before ordering and waiting for the order and with the waiters in a mess with the orders going from table to table in search of the correct one.
The third impact was with a "fruit salad" consisting of ten pieces (cut at the worst) of peach and nocepesca at the modest price of € 5.00 each.
Exasperated we decide not to wait for the bill at the table and to pay and take the coffee directly at the bar counter, but in those few minutes we are continually yanked by waiters who deliver trays with empty glasses.
Summing up: two sandwiches, two "fruit salads", a bottle of water, a coffee for a total of € 28.00 and little attention to the customer.

Eravamo in 10, pronti a prendere una bella coppa di gelato ma la cameriera si è urtata per aver avvicinato i tavolini e ci ha letteralmente lanciato i menù.
Siamo andati via con un caffè a testa e siamo stati anche troppo buoni.
(Al pagamento hanno anche fatto una battuta per la somma spesa a fronte dei 3 tavolini occupati)
Consigliatissima la gelateria piu su, quella di Emilio. Ottima.
Rude, listless, and unwelcoming staff.
There were 10 of us, ready to have a nice cup of ice cream but the waitress got bumped for having approached the tables and literally threw us the menus.
We left with a coffee each and we were too good.
(At the payment they also made a joke for the amount spent for the 3 occupied tables)
Highly recommended is the ice cream shop above, that of Emilio. Great.
