★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Chiesa Evangelica Battista e' una Chiesa cristiana nata nel 1609 nella seconda fase della Riforma Protestante del Xvl secolo. Si chiama Battista perche' battezza coloro che hanno ricevuto la buona notizia della salvezza in Cristo, e per questo vogliono entrare a far parte della Sua Chiesa. E' stato il primo edificio di culto cristiano protestante a Roma. Dopo la breccia di porta Pia durante il Risorgimento.Si costituirono subito le prime comunita' Evangeliche, finche' il 2 novembre 1878 ci fu' il Culto d' inaugurazione di questo edificio.Da allora la comunita' Battista del Teatro Valle celebra qui il Culto pubblico la domenica mattina alle ore 11. Oltre a varie altre attivita' infrasettimanali. La decorazione della sala fu' piu' tardi effettuata dall' artista paolo Paschetto.
The Evangelical Baptist Church is a Christian Church born in 1609 in the second phase of the Protestant Reformation of the 15th century. It was the first Protestant Christian building in Rome. After the breach of Porta Pia during the Risorgimento, the first Evangelical communities were established immediately, until on November 2, 1878 there was the inauguration of this building.
