★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stepped in, took a look around, left. The place is a dystopian vision made out of concrete and grime, truly depressing. I can't recommend this maritime access point to anyone but hope that sometime it will be renovated for the people of Trieste.

Very friendly.
Charming historic building, swimming close to the Port and with a nice view is an experience on its own.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming to this place off and on for over 40 years. It carries in my heart some of the best memories of my life. I would recommend this place to anyone of any age. There is the beach, the sea, a pool with diving boards, food, drink, and plenty of sunning places, as well as, shade. I love it all!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very expensive for the experience. You can only swim in a “cage”, the water is swampy and there are lots of snakelocks that can bite you. I was unfortunately almost hospitalized when I was caught by such an animal there. They should have payed back the entrance fee at least! Very very disappointed.

It is a fido, a quite old one, lots of concrete, old design, etc.
Still, it has a kid area with very shallow water, lots of space to sunbath, a small buffet which is not expensive at all.
The entry fee is 5 euros for adults, for an additional 4 euros you can get a sunbed. Also, if you ask for it at the entrance, you can get a key to a private locker, it is free, you only have to leave some ID for it.
The water is surprisingly clean, given it is close to the port, but still, it is sparkling blue.
For the money and given there are not many beach opportunities this close to the city, it worth a visit.
