B&B Shining

Non do mai 5 stelle ma la cortesia ed educazione di Corrado e della sua famiglia mi fanno fare uno strappo alla regola. Belle camere. Parcheggio piccolo ma privato e sicuro. Colazione ottima (magari ci sarebbe da pensare a qualche soluzione più "solida" per gustarla all'aperto anche in caso di maltempo - ma è davvero un dettaglio). Vicinanza al mare e posizione strategica di Avola rispetto agli altri centri da visitare nei dintorni completano il quadro positivo. Bella esperienza!

5 stelle! Abbiamo pernottato in questa struttura, in assoluto la migliore del nostro intero tour siciliano. Posizione strategica: a due passi dal mare, vicino al centro storico e all'autostrada. Ineguagliabile accoglienza di Corrado e della sua famiglia, cordiali e disponibili nel consigliarci luoghi e monumenti da visitare. Camere spaziose, nuove, curate in ogni minimo dettaglio ( tanto da pensare che ci fossero le mani di un architetto), pulite e con un ampio terrazzino. Colazione completa ( dal dolce al salato) con prodotti di nicchia ed eccellente qualità. Torte deliziose e consigliatissime!! Parcheggio interno custodito. Complimenti non potevate fare di meglio!!!

I proprietari sono molto accoglienti ed ospitali. Il locale è pulito accessoriato di tutto, wifi, frigo, TV e condizionatore, compreso posto auto. La colazione è ottima. Il mare a due passi è l'ideale per chi cerca relax.

We had a wonderful stay. The owners were very kind and gave us some delicious Sicilian sweets as a goodbye present.

Let's start with taking about the property, a family-run business, all of them lovely, 4 rooms (make sure to ask them why there are different numbers for each room), each room is cosy, new style warm and well equipped of everything you need (personal point of view the service they offer is more a 3 or 4 star one), the bathroom is such a spotlessly clean one, you will love the shower with maiolica tiles, an amazing air conditioning and a small fridge where you find for the first night a free bottle of water. Daily cleaning although you don't really need it (that's why I say they offer a 4 star-rating service). Each morning you will enjoy a sweet and savoury breakfast in a company of one or even better all of family's members and other guests. It's a convenient place in terms of price and location which is just a couple of mins walking distance from the nearest beach (they will give you umbrella sun and chairs too if are asking, they will tell you to grab them anyway). On top of that there is an amazing bar (rosticceria in italian where you can have a quick). What to add more, what can you ask for but nothing more than that. My girlfriend and I have been in this amazing b&b for the 3rd time which mean around September in the last 3 years. I strongly recommend you this place as you are very close to the most beautiful cities and towns in south-eastern part of Sicily (to mentioned Ragusa, Syracuse where you will have to visit Ortigia, Catania, Modica known for chocolate but don't underestimate its wines and coffee, Scicli, Noto etc), please go there by car the only way to get the most if everything.

I have traveled a good bit and this is, by far, the best B&B experience I have had. My hosts were warm, gracious and exceptionally generous without being invasive. The decor is new and very tasteful and comfortable. And what fantastic breakfasts with local fruit, great coffee and Sicilian specialties! The B&B is only a two minute walk from a large, sandy beach and seafront promenade. The town of Avola is in a perfect spot for exploring Sicily by train, bus or car. It is a pretty, quiet town with fantastic beaches and countryside.

The B&B shining is a beautiful place to stay. There is no wish left open which was not fulfilled from Corrado. He is a great host, friendly with lots of great tipps, either for restaurants or any excursions you are looking for. The location is great, just a few steps from the beach wher you experience some caribbean feeling. The rooms are very clean and the interior is in style. The breakfast ist just incredible good and prepared with love. We had every day a new fresh cake homemade from his mom and his Dad is taking care of the beautiful flowers arround the house. This B&B is the best I ever stayed at. Grazie mille!

Can I have early check-in? Can I have late checkout? Can I have a big Scandinavian breakfast? No problem at B&B Shining! Just very friendly. Big room, Nice bathroom, and a terrace in the shade. And I must admit, it's nice to have a host that speaks English very well. You need som local advice in Avola. Because it's touristic. But beatiful. You get good advice at Shining.
