β β β β β It was nice and boutiquish. No check in staff at night, bed was a little too stiff. Nice location for tourist sites, and restaurants. Nice bathroom. Fast wifi. Others complained of noise but we didn't experience loud noises.

β β β β β The hotel is in the city center, very good located. The rooms are large and with taste. The stuff is helpfull and speak in english (rare for sicily). The breakfast is good. But the most serious problem is that the rooms are not sound proofing and we hear EVERYTHING, so we couldn't sleep all the days of our trip, we had the room 1, directly next to the receprion and from 07:00 o' clock in the morning we woke up everyday because we hear the people passing and talking. They changed us a room was better but at the end of our travel we were tired. When you are vacations the sleep is very important even if the place is very good decorated and in a central place if you can not sleep has not meaning.
Ps. Change the old interior doors.

β β β β β Pros: Lovely hotel. Centrally located, easy transport to/from airport on the Alibus, clean and comfy rooms, very helpful staff.
Cons: I had the room next to reception, and it sounded like I was IN reception. I heard every conversation, clearly. ("Checking out tomorrow? Where is the Alibus? How often does it come?" Literally heard this convo eight times during my stay.) This is mainly a problem in the afternoon during check in/out, and at night when other guests are coming back.
Other comments: Reception is super helpful once you get there. However, they are not available all the time. I emailed Sunday about dropping my bag in advance of check in, and did not hear back until Monday check in after it was moot. So, add in extra time for comms. Also, from the main street - hotel is up two outdoor staircases, an uphill street, then one staircase in the building.
