★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo produttore a livello famigliare con vigne in prevalenza nebbiolo (localmente spanna) a poca distanza dalla cantina sulle colline del paese.
Ho assaggiato il Ghemme riserva '07 una vera Rarität; il Levo (spanna in purezza '14 in acciaio con annata particolare); il Tordo '12 stesso vitigno ma fatto in legno: tutti sono risultati puliti, nitidi, fatti bene e di discreta tipicità e personalità.
Poi più convenzionale il bianco greco o erbaluce (annata ultima).
Da provare senz'altro, e propedeutico per chi vuol fare conoscenza coi nebbiolo del Piemonte nordoccidentale
Small family-run producer with mainly Nebbiolo vines (locally spanna) not far from the winery on the hills of the village.
I tasted the Ghemme reserve '07 a true Rarität; the Levo (span in purity '14 in steel with particular vintage); Tordo '12 same grape variety but made in wood: all were clean, crisp, well made and of discreet typicality and personality.
Then more conventional the Greek white or erbaluce (last year).
Definitely to try, and preparatory for those who want to get acquainted with the nebbiolo of northwestern Piedmont
