★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I wanted to add something extra to our trip from Rome to Pompeii and found this vineyard during our search. I am so happy we found it. This family owned vineyard was stunning. On the slopes of mighty Mount Vesuvius it overlooked the Bay of Naples and Pompeii below.
The service was outstanding, the family made us feel so welcome and were so accommodating throughout our stay (in the adjacent Vesuvio Inn Bed & Wine Experience, also owned by the family and short walk away). The hotel room was big, clean, and the air conditioning worked wonders!
We were lucky enough to stay during a night in which they hosted another vineyard from near Mount Etna to compare various volcanic wines. So not only did we have the chance to go on a tour of the vineyard and taste the wonderful and unique Lacryma Christi that Sorrentino Vesuvio is known for, but also we tried some other great wines.
On top of all that, we were treated to a phenomenal home cooked meal during the wine tasting.
We spent 10 days in Italy and this was certainly one of the best days on the trip! I highly recommend visiting here if you are a wine lover or are looking something slightly off the beaten path while visiting Naples or Pompeii!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went up to visit on a Sunday afternoon. It was incredibly peaceful the family was incredibly inviting and the food was spectacular. I would highly recommend visiting this establishment if you're in the area. You'll be glad you did. Oh and by the way, the view of Mount Vesuvius and looking back down into Pompeii and the bay are all just wonderful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had breakfast here as it was included with our stay at the Vesuvio Inn down the street. Great service and very good food. We bought several bottles of wine which taste amazing. Definitely worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re visiting the Sorrentino winery to taste some wines and also have accompanying food booked, come hungry. You get 4 courses of great food from antipasti to Gnocchi and Parmigiana and a cake (that was my menu). In parallel they give you 5 different wines to taste that fit the food perfectly. Loved it, and also most of the wines very really good (my fave: the Caprettone Benita 31 white wine). I booked this together with a guided visit of the Pompei sights, so look out for this combined 5 hour tour - the winery stop is no rip off and just fantastic!
