I recommend this romantic place surrounded by greenery to everyone, here hospitality and friendliness are paramount and everything is complemented by typical local products and excellent wine. Cheerfulness and relaxation guaranteed!

Valeriano is a small town of extraordinary harmony. It is part, administratively, of the Municipality of Pinzano al Tagliamento, an extreme offshoot to the east, towards the hilly and mountainous Friuli, of what was the province of Pordenone. I know Alessandro Vicentini Orgnani, the people who are dear to him, his land, his vines for many years. The beauty of the landscape is what always strikes me, when for any opportunity I go to him. The winery is located high above the Tagliamento that completes its turn at Pinzano, coming from Carnia, before throwing itself into that Friulian plain that he himself created. You can enjoy the view of the gullies of Ragogna, eaten by the waters; and of the immense gravity in which the river unravels its arms. Towards the north, instead, as a crown to the rows, the eye first meets the gentle hills of Castelnovo, then the mountains of the pre-Alps. The biological cultivation methods accompany various blooms during the year and not infrequently, in the usual walk with Alessandro, sometimes accompanied also by Raffaella Manca, his companion and muse, I happened to see wild: hares, roe deer, pheasants, partridges and many others. Better than I know how, this harmony is expressed in a poem by Novella Cantarutti dedicated to the painter Lionello Fioretti: Gilding from pôi Impiâs To 'mi tòrnin i cjo ’you: the Ciùcal of Valarian is from below you burn the gilding from the pôi denant that the lûs ‘A si distuéi. It is therefore not surprising that this harmony also covers the wines of Alexander and is sublimated there, especially in Pinot Gris, Friulian and Merlot. And in that amazing rarity that is the passé Ucelùt, a wine that, given the knowledge and the relationship, makes friendships so rare, I sometimes had the privilege of being able to drink. A wonderful site with a breathtaking landscape. Alessandro, the owner, welcomes you with kindness and you can taste the great white wines typical of the Italian region of Friuli, such as Pinot Grigio and Friulano and my favorite, among the reds, Cabernet Franck. Ucelut also stands out as one of the best "passito" I have ever tasted.
