★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stopped by for a visit with Giovanni and it was a highlight of our trip. After seeing so many "greenhouses" driving around this part of Sicily, it was great to finally go inside one. In our case, we were inside a greenhouse growing tomatoes (variety datterini). Giovanni explained how and why they are grown in this way, and we got to taste them straight off the vine.
