The company operates in the exact place where the first trout farm was born in the early fifties thanks to a brilliant intuition of Mr. Silvio Rossi, father of the current owners. Started with only two tanks and fed by the lumpid waters of the stream that flows alongside, the farm has gradually expanded over the years until it reaches its current considerable size, thanks also to the innate entrepreneurial spirit of the three sons of the founder and the his grandchildren. In three generations, the small farm has become the European leader in trout farming, through the gradual acquisition of companies in the sector throughout the national territory and beyond. The semi-finished products that we find at large retailers are of excellent quality and are also produced at the Sefro farm. It is possible to visit the company and its production cycle, by appointment only.
