★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was good and I loved watching there the F16s take off there and the terminal there was small but great. The BX and Commissary there was lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, but limited selection of everything on base. Definitely shop on the economy if you eat more than TV dinners. It's similar in price and the quality is much better. The BX is laid out wired and hardly has what you want. Just default to the SME in pordenone, and your local grocery store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there as a USAF member until my service was finished. Then got married to a lady air force member and stayed as a dependent civilian until her tour was finished. Total of 8 years there. Remember 30 minutes to Piancavallo where you snow ski or 45 minutes to the beaches near Venice. Great life, great people, great markets with foods and wines. Sorry I had to leave. Would return if I could.
