B	Buz Healey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have just had the great misfortune of ending up on the A36 after google maps suggested an accident detour around Milan and putting me on this Pedemontana toll road - no toll gate road! After checking overhead gantry’s it was near impossible to make out the web site and instructions so I took a photo as I went through ( pic posted). Very dangerous indeed driving alone taking photos of signage! It has spoilt my memory of Italy - a drive through 6 countries from the UK - Bulgaria, having to pay a toll from Italy within 15 days! Pretty much disgusted with the hassle and time spent trying to navigate/translate/pay this like others here. But I have achieved it so don’t despair. Hopefully you can do the same and move on. In my experience, I found the website is NOT supporting iPhone, but on iPad it’s more optimised and was much better it worked for me!! Register an account with an email and password, follow the drop down bars, then put in the number plate and choose country - GBR in my case, it says plate and clock!? Then it will search and find your car with toll due. By the way the site has an English language option. When I did all this it came up with the toll 5.86 euros and a pay button. I paid with MasterCard and got a transaction confirmation etc. All saved and photographed for reference ? . Good luck folks!
m	marsi089 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the most ridiculous toll system I ever came across, the page simply doesn't work you can not register your card any more even though I was able to process my payments within my profil in the past. absolutely not recommended for foreigners. total rip off
T	Top Reviewer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ IT'S A FRAUD DESIGNED BY SOMEONE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. Directly connected with the motorway getting straightaway from the border with Switzerland, indications are so poor to be likely missed even by Italian drivers, you can figure out by yourself how a foreigner can be easily trapped in this scam set up by politicians and bureaucrats clearly with no care for public service whatsoever. Online payment with no registration is impossible and it is a catch-22 you're likely to give up after a couple of frustrating attempts. Is this the warm welcome you bloody bureaucrats are reserving to travelers visiting your country? Italy is much better than this and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Maybe this is good but now I can not register on their site and moble app so I can not pay the toll from my country now!! I tried several times but the system gives me the "error". Unbelievable and stupid. Probably they prefer to charge penalties instead of toll!

Additional problem: Not every traffic sign, which gives information about it, is in English. That means if you are not speaking Italian you notice even later. The internet site is pure hell. It feels/works like it is from an prehistoric area. Even my hairdresser in Germany has a better online registration + payment system. Really...whats wrong with this company?! The site is not optimized for smartphones and partly in Italian language even if you want to have it in English language... BRO Tip: Register and DONT enter the credit card details in the first go! Then the regristration seem to work and you get an email. If you add credit card details in the first go, the registration system seem not to work. Unbelievable as a total. Hopefully some newspapers/TV reporters will make a story about it.

Me, as Italian speaker and traveller of Italy, this is the worse highway I've ever been on. Not because the road has holes, but because of the unusual way of payment. I didn't expect to have to pay for a highway online. A website is not mentioned anywhere. Luckily I did some googling and avoided a possible fine
