★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 weeks ago I serviced my car at the garage, right before heading back to the UK.
It was rainy weather so I didn't wash my car until 2 days ago. Then I discovered the damage.
There were few yellowy thick stains on the white bonnet. It looked like bird's dirt but it was very hard to wash it out. I scrubbed it hard to discover that the paint is badly damaged! the paint was scratched off down to the steel underneath. It looks like they put some very heavy tool on the bonnet, without any protective layer. Then they tried to hide the damage by painting the scratched spots and because was still visible and deep, they decided to mask it up with some hard gummy thing so I can't see it when taking the car back.
I wrote to them and attached pics. They send me a reply that they have some photos they do for dents and damages on the check-in and check-out (without my presence and knowledge, what service garage does that?) and that it must have been damaged prior their work. They said the photo evidence will be sent to me, but instead of sending photos, they have blocked me on the phone.
AVOID!!!
Now they replied that the car was dirty.. and that they have photos. Show me!!! You blocked me after promising send the photos. This is not about dirt but damages you have done due to your negligence!!! I have just been in audi service and the damage will cost £1,680 !!!
I am still waiting for the photos you keep saying about!!
