The auditorium of San Barnaba was built in the former church of the same name now deconsecrated It is not the first time that an attempt has been made to reuse an ex-church in this way, but in the specific case a good job has been done. However, despite the efforts, the acoustics are not very suitable for instrumental use, while it is excellent for vocals

Beautiful theater with good acoustics and comfortable seats, where concerts, plays, conferences etc. take place. Originally it was the church of the convent, built by Bishop Maggi in 1200; over the years it has undergone several changes. The baroque façade, dating back to the seventeenth century, is monumental and overlooks the square dedicated to Arturo Benedetti Michaelangeli, next to the Luca Marenzio Conservatory to which the beautiful cloisters of the former convent belong. Sant Angela Merici often went there to pray and where, it is said, he had the phenomenon of "levitation". Definitely worth seeing in the various events organized there ... It is located in the historic center of Brescia, scarce and paid parking.

A performance space in which many concerts take place, however the hall is not specifically designed for music events even any art showcase. The stage is too high for audiences to see, too small for a full orchestra, and the sonority is blurry.
