Il teatro è ospitato nell'edificio futurista di origine architettonica fascista che era il cuore della Bergamo rinnovata nel Ventennio.
Dal punto di vista puramente strutturale non è un teatro, ma un cinema.
Acustica eccellente.
Proprio sotto c'è il parcheggio a pagamento, piuttosto caro, ma comodo.

The theater is housed in the futurist building of fascist architectural origin which was the heart of Bergamo renewed in the twenty years.
From a purely structural point of view it is not a theater, but a cinema.
Excellent acoustics.
Right below there is the paid parking, rather expensive, but convenient.

Molto grande e molto ben disposta!
Excellent theater programming for children. Very organized, even with a snack after the theater. I recommend booking, on our arrival many families had to wait because the room was full.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo auditorium ha un' importante collocazione nella storia della cultura bergamasca essendo stato punto di riferimento per i cinefili giá a partire dalla metá degli anni '70. In questa sala, grazie all'associazione Lab 80 veniva organizzato il primo cineforum cittadino che introdurrá al cinema numerose generazioni negli anni a venire, facendo conoscere, a prezzi popolari numerosi registi internazionali con opere, a volte, di grande eccellenza. Piccola curiositá artistica: al pianterreno della facciata principale si trova il più esteso affresco di tutta la provincia, creato nel ventennio come del resto il palazzo.
This auditorium has an important place in the history of Bergamo culture, having been a point of reference for film buffs since the mid-70s. In this room, thanks to the Lab 80 association, the first city cineforum was organized which will introduce numerous generations to the cinema in the years to come, making numerous international directors known at popular prices with sometimes excellent works. Small artistic curiosity: on the ground floor of the main facade there is the largest fresco in the whole province, created in the twenty years as well as the palace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was built during the fascist era, when Mussolini ruled over Italy.
Architecture-wise, the construction is pretty interesting and follows the typical fascist taste, which promoted a sort of neoclassical style.
Nowadays it is an auditorium, hosting many different events and concerts every year. The auditorium interior looks nice and the structure is quite recent and efficient.
