Private booking guide for photo purposes. We climbed the Stromboli twice in 36h under very professional guidance and reached the summit level on time. The talks for preparation and conclusion were very good and extensive. Nino, Massimo and Giuseppe are very professional and above all local guides who know every hidden stone even in the dark. They familiarize themselves with the participants and their needs and are able to adapt excellently to all challenges. Even with 15kg luggage of the participants the time windows and chosen routes could be kept. We felt very safe at all times. The expertise in geology, botany and history did not leave any questions unanswered. The next tours will be under their direction again! Praise to all and thank you for the unforgettable moments on the Stromboli. Stefan and Jürgen

It was so great, we saw not only the dust coming out of the crater but also some quite amazing “fire show”. On the way, Giuseppe, our tour guide, prepared for us some interesting bits from the history of the volcano and Aeolian Islands. Totally worth it?

Very good guide, helped all the way, with short explanation of the history. We were a group of 15 people or so. Also he gave us all necessaries equipments like trekking pole and flashlight

July 21st, 2021 Massimo and Vincenzo as guides were sublime. They both were very knowledgeable of both the terrain (the routes and the more practical information about climbing the vulcano) and the geological processes behind Etna. The company showed they exceeded over the others when we came close to a one year old lava stream. Where two other groups from other companies were told to have lunch downhill from the stream, (that later proved to be rather dangerous when red hot stones rolled down) we were led by Massimo to a place more uphill and further away from the stream to rest. We then were led in smaller groups closer to the stream and had the same amazing experience without the danger. I would recommend Ashàra to anyone who wants a spectacular but completely safe trip up Mount Etna. 5/5

A great experience ! A "Stromboli by sunset" hiking tour guided by Giuseppe - excellent explanations, great spirit, proper safety. A good pace, adapted to all participants' abilities. We went up for about two hours, then spent an hour in an observation point waiting for impressive regular eruptions of the gases (like fireworks !) and went down for about 1-1.5 hours (in the dark with torches, which is an experience in itself). In the price of the tour are also included proper shoes, a torch and a hardhat, so you don't need to worry about that.

The hike itself was very beautiful. Don't be afraid, 9 year old boys did it without any problems. The guide was really good, giving us short lectures about Stromboli during the breaks. We arrived before sunset, and it took over an hour to get dark. During that time, we saw only smoke from the erruptions. Only after it gets completely dark, you can see the lava. Unfortunately the guide started the journey back to soon, so we missed the really spectacular eruptions, some of us seeing them by fortune, while walking down, tripping over the stones. This is the point of improvement, stay there longer, arrive later. Overall it is awesome to see an active volcano, surely worth the money and the hike.

Great guide and experience from start to finish. Mary was very helpful answering our questions, helping us understand which ferry we can take and even recommending a wonderful hotel to stay at. Our guide was fantastic and Stromboli treated us well :)

The tour itself was gorgeous, worth every difficulty along the way! The most impressive experience and views of my life. But the guide Pepe was terrible, spoke a very poor English, walked too fast, going up and down, what is dangerous in that terrain specially going down, and many times left us alone behind for several minutes. I would certainly recommend and repeat the tour myself, but with a different company and guide. I would also recommend everyone brought a pair of poles to help on the way down.
