★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cibo molto buono. Servizio super veloce. Ho messo tre stelle pk io e il mio amico abbiamo di rischiato di farci "rubare" i soldi. In pratica non ci stavano dando il resto, speriamo sia un disguido. Cmq in tutto questo l'accoglienza è veramente ottima.
Very good food. Super fast service. I put three stars pk my friend and I risked making us "steal" the money. Basically they weren't giving us the change, let's hope it's a mistake. Anyway in all this the welcome is really excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale Raffinato.. dalla pasticceria all'arredamento, dalla colazione alla tavola calda.. se dovessi trovare una pecca, l'unica potrebbe essere il conto delle calorie da portare a casa!!! Nel periodo di Natale si possono trovare i panettoni artigianali con ripeno alla nocciola, cioccolato e in base alle proprie richieste.. Gentilissimi i proprietari Pio e Tiziana.. Una grande certezza per San Cataldo!
Refined Room .. from the pastry shop to the furnishing, from the breakfast to the diner .. if I had to find a flaw, the only one could be the count of the calories to take home !!! At Christmas time you can find homemade panettone with ripeno hazelnut, chocolate and according to your requirements .. Dear owners Pius and Tiziana .. A great certainty for San Cataldo!

Sono andato per comprare una torta Sette Veli, essendo la preferita di mia moglie, le abbiamo provate in molte pasticcerie italiane, palermitane e catanesi, compreso da Cappello dove è stata creata la seconda versione della torta, a mio avviso più buona di quella veneta. Ciò che mi è stato venduto è una torta con glassa al cioccolato, uno strato al cacao e uno alla nocciola preponderanti, su un letto di granella di nocciole quasi invisibile come lo strato di pan di spagna di un mm e mezzo. Praticamente non erano proprio sette veli, ma un po' meno! Allego le foto della torta in questione e della sette veli originale della pasticceria Cappello: parlano da sole!
P.S. l'originale era più economica!
What a disappointment! I went to buy a Sette Veli cake, being my wife's favorite, we tried them in many Italian, Palermo and Catania pastry shops, including at Cappello where the second version of the cake was created, in my opinion better than the Venetian one. What was sold to me is a cake with chocolate glaze, a cocoa layer and a hazelnut layer on a bed of hazelnut grains almost invisible like the one and a half mm layer of sponge cake. Basically they weren't exactly seven veils, but a little less! I am attaching the photos of the cake in question and of the original seven veils of the Cappello pastry shop: they speak for themselves!
P.S. the original was cheaper!
