★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This club represents everything wrong with Rome's nightlife. Pretentious, outdated concepts, strange rules such as guys with fashionable haircuts having to wear caps while inside, a non sensical door policy with long wait times despite "VIP" reservations all leading to a very mediocre clubbing experience. Once inside we had to switch VIP sections twice. Each section is color coded by the color bracelet you wear. Members of our party weren't able to enter our new VIP section despite being asked to move by the club. Completely disorganized. As difficult as it is to get in, you'd expect the party of a lifetime but it's filled with affluent Romans just standing around like zombies staring and judging each other. If a PR is trying to get you to attend an event at Art Cafe, think twice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Total low life guy at the door. Bad mouthing Americans not realizing i understand Italian. Lied about closing time and telling other doorman to tell us club closed at midnight when it closes at 5 am. Spend your American dollars in a place that appreciates it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst club I have been to, internationally. We had ordered a table but when we arrived none in the staff recognized this. Eventually we got a table and was promised half price as compensation. When we were about to leave they wanted full pay and we had to call police to solve it. Never been to a more shabby place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Art Café is one of the famous pub in Rome. If you are in Rome, it’s a place you should not miss visiting. They aren’t racist and do allow anyone and everyone who are properly dressed and will not make the environment uncomfortable. Once you are inside, you feel out of the world. They play both Italian and English music. Do visit. Entry fees is 15 Euros with a free drink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My friends and I came last year and it was pretty good. The music was good and it was crowded and the space was big, but oh my were the drinks expensive. It was 15 Euro for one drink...which was $20 CDN at the time. That was probably the only downfall to this place. Other than that, we had a lot of fun :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to get judged and treated without any respect because of your appearance - this is the place for you. You will be expected to wear high heels and a skirt so tiny that everyone can see your underwear. The staff at the entrance were totally unprofessional and had no manners whatsoever. This place really needs to change and improve before i would even consider going back. I wish that I had taken the time to read the bad reviews online before i made the effort to visit the Art Cafe.
I really hope that the manager will read these negative reviews and seriously consider making some changes to the staff, as the place has a great location and interior
