★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cimitero poco conosciuto. Sono sepolti 1267 soldati del Commonwealth, tra cui 378 indiani. Purtroppo stavano eseguendo dei lavori e non abbiamo potuto visitarlo per bene. Sembra comunque ben tenuto.
Little-known cemetery. 1267 Commonwealth soldiers are buried, including 378 Indians. Unfortunately, work was underway and we were unable to visit it properly. However, it seems well-kept.

Mi sono fermato
Mi sono subito fermato per visitarlo ed ammirarlo
L’ho visitato in un giornata di sole dopo giorni di pioggia ed è apparso forse più bello e interessante di sempre
Il prato verde, curatissimo e bagnato cosiccome le tombe ben disposte e curate
Il luogo colpisce per l’ordine e la cura
Colpisce anche la solennità e il rispetto che impone soprattutto pensando alle vite stroncate dalla guerra
Molto interessante la zona sud dove sono presenti le tombe dei soldati arruolati tra la popolazione Gurkha del Nepal e dell'India settentrionale
Da visitare, credo sia da visitare. In silenzio, da soli e senza furia

The place is striking for its order and care

Very interesting is the southern area where there are the graves of soldiers enlisted among the Gurkha population of Nepal and northern India
To visit, I think it is worth visiting. In silence, alone and without fury
