S	Sergio Cherubini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo lago é una perla nascosta al centro dell'Umbria, conosciuta solo da pochi pescatori ma assolutamente da valorizzare: l'acqua é verde smeraldo, limpidissima, tutto circondato da pinete, sembra di stare sulle Alpi. Le strade per arrivare al lago sono pessime, sia quella che scende da Firenzuola, sia quella da Messenano. Il ramo del lago dalla parte di Messenano é più lungo e più selvaggio, e comunque c'é un sentiero che congiunge i due rami. Il periodo più bello per visitare il lago é la tarda primavera, quando le ginestre sono fiorite ed il lago é alla massima capienza di acqua. Nel periodo autunnale il bacino idrico ha meno acqua, le sponde sono brulle ed il lago sembra diventare più pescoso. Il lago potrebbe essere valorizzato realizzando un'area picnic, un parcheggio e soprattutto sistemando le strade sterrate d'accesso, percorribili solo da fuoristrada This lake is a hidden pearl in the center of Umbria, known only by a few fishermen but absolutely to be enhanced: the water is emerald green, crystal clear, all surrounded by pine forests, it seems to be in the Alps. The roads to get to the lake are very bad , both the one that descends from Firenzuola and that from Messenano. The branch of the lake on the Messenano side is longer and more wild, and in any case there is a path that connects the two branches. The most beautiful time to visit the lake is late spring, when the gorse is in bloom and the lake is at its maximum water capacity. In the autumn the reservoir has less water, the banks are barren and the lake seems to become more fishy. The lake could be enhanced by creating a picnic area, a car park and above all by arranging the dirt access roads, which can only be traveled by off-road vehicles

Il bacino, ricco di pesce, dà vita ad un paesaggio unico. All'estremità sud, quella raggiungibile da Messenano, ci sono i ruderi del vecchio mulino, visibili solo con l'acqua in secca. In the municipality of Acquasparta, an artificial lake born from the damming of the Maroggia river with the Arezzo dam. Accessible from Firenzuola or Messenano. The basin, rich in fish, gives life to a unique landscape. At the southern end, the one reachable from Messenano, there are the ruins of the old mill, visible only when the water is dry.
