Very close to the view of Matera, you can better take the shuttle to the city and back. At 09:30 and back alternatively at 14:30, 19:00 or 21:00.
T	Till Belle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeus countryside! Good connection to Matera City- on the Weekend with the Belvedere Bus, during the week with the owner for small money. The toilets and the shower are simple but clean. You can buy local food in the Shop. Paolo the owner is friendly and his pets are really sweet.

M	Mark Doornbos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to spend the Night and to visit Matera. Natural shower in “the wild”, friendly groundkeeper which gives usefull information about how to visit the city. Beautiful wake through the gravina and return by shuttle. No internet. Water is available.
R	Ruud Weiss on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sincerely, a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a quiet, authentic and inspiring environment this is the place to be. Simple facilities but in a gorgeous setting which is hard to find elsewhere. If you have the chance and the bridge is open PLEASE walk/hike to Matera and you will have stunning views on the town and a fantastic brook. Sitting at the water it looks like time has stopped and the modern world is far away. The owners also serve a simple, authentic and inexpensive meal with pure and local products.
B	Boudewijn D'Hauwers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this camping site: a cosy quiet place with enough shelter when needed. The shower outside was very practical and even quite warm because enough heated by the sun (other camping sites are claiming they have a warm shower, which is often icy cold). Paolo, the responsible and host of this camping site, was very supportive - a real tourism office with useful flyers. A shuttle at a 5 min walk every half an hour which drives you to Matera in 25 minutes. But coming back late in the evening went smoothly and shorter, because Paolo was so kind to pick us up in the village itself! The camping site is located at the archeological site of Matera, so just a short walk. Again it was Paolo who organised us an English speaking guide, Maria. Maria told us a lot about the history of Matera, how important the plants have been through the history for mankind and still today as well. Her explanation had a serious added value! We will come back for sure to this part, and it will be obvious we’ll choose again this cosy camping side!

We simply asked for a recommendation for a vet and within an hour we had an appointment with out needs fully explained to the vet and Paulo was going to take us there. We asked for none of this help, it was just given without a second thought. Maria also gave us maps, advice and a warm welcome as soon as we arrived.The location is in a natural place so drive past all the sostas on the road and come here! Very chilled and peaceful.
