inside it's very interesting with all the details of how/when Oetsi was found. But it's outside where the magic happens. lots of funny, interesting activities for the whole family. How oetsi used to start a fire? How did he go for a hunt? etc. definitely worth a visit!!! oh, by the way, did I mention that everyone is really very nice? great place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This reconstruction of a stone age village is fun and educational for the entire family. We learned how to make fire with rocks, cook bread on an open fire, shoot a bow and arrow, and ride a canoe carved from a tree trunk. It was a big hit with both children who were determined to hit a plastic bunny with their wooden arrows. The museum does a great of explaining how life in the Alps was 5,000 years ago and there are plenty of hands on activities that make learning interesting.
