La raccolta presenta, inoltre, manufatti di età greco-romana, periodo in cui la città si presentava ricca e fiorente. Tra questi spicca la scultura ritraente dell'imperatore Augusto, definito dai critici come il migliore ritratto conservato in Sicilia: ritrovato a Centuripe durante dei lavori effettuati nel 1938 è oggi esposto insieme ad altri due ritratti reali cioè di Germanico e Druso minore. Le sculture furono rinvenute in prossimità di una struttura definita come "Edificio degli Augustales" che si trova a pochi passi dal Museo ed è tutt'oggi visitabile. The archaeological museum of Centuripe, although small in size and little known, contains interesting archaeological finds dating back to prehistoric times. The collection also presents artifacts from the Greco-Roman age, a period in which the city was rich and flourishing. Among these, the sculpture depicting the emperor Augustus stands out, defined by critics as the best portrait preserved in Sicily: found in Centuripe during works carried out in 1938, it is now exhibited together with two other real portraits, namely of Germanicus and Drusus minor. The sculptures were found near a structure defined as the "Edificio degli Augustales" which is located a few steps from the Museum and can still be visited today.

Peccato che sia poco pubblicizzato. Il personale è molto accogliente e disponibile a qualsiasi spiegazione inerente i reperti. Inoltre altra cosa da sottolineare: il biglietto è GRATIS. Beautiful Archaeological museum located in Centuripe (EN). Inside it offers a wide range of historical finds dating back to the Greco-Roman era. A must see. Too bad it's not publicized. The staff is very welcoming and helpful with any explanation regarding the exhibits. Also another thing to note: the ticket is FREE.

Ma soprattutto dalla possibilità di visitare laboratori di artigiani che riproducono oggetti antichi come se fossero veri infatti le università li contattano per riprodurre delle riproduzioni! Ps vi invito a vedere questo museo che al momento è gratuito che ospita una testa unica dell’imperatore Augusto e una statua di Venere( in piccolo) di marmo in stile di miro A museum with a unique wealth of vases, statues, ancient ceramics and Neolithic finds. But above all from the possibility of visiting workshops of artisans who reproduce ancient objects as if they were real, in fact universities contact them to reproduce reproductions!
