★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pizze buonissime, siccome dovevamo già mangiare il dolce a casa abbiamo evitato di riempirci con antipasti… ma devo dire che in un altro momento ne avrei preso volentieri uno.
Hanno la particolarità di dare nomi di persone alle pizze, davvero creativo!
Servizio ottimo, nessuna critica.
 Very good pizzas, since we already had to eat dessert at home we avoided filling ourselves with appetizers… but I must say that at another time I would have gladly taken one.
They have the particularity of giving names of people to the pizzas, really creative!
Great service, no complaints.

Quiet and relaxing place. Staff very kind and attentive to every request. Superlative starter and first course: Salmon and pistachio risotto and fried calamari, anchovies and prawns.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stata in questo ristorante - pizzeria la settimana scorsa per la prima volta. Pizza stile napoletana davvero molto buona, primi e secondi anche. Puntuali e precisi con le ordinazioni. Location molto grande con tanti posti a sedere, ben distanziati dato il periodo e molto veloci con ordinazioni e arrivi al tavolo.
Cibo di buona qualità e prezzi normali, non esagerati. Ci tornerò sicuramente ?
I was in this restaurant - pizzeria last week for the first time. Very good Neapolitan style pizza, first and second courses too. Punctual and precise with orders. Very large location with many seats, well spaced given the period and very fast with orders and arrivals at the table.
Good quality food and normal prices, not over the top. I will definitely be back ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During our stay in Venetico, we visited L'ancora twice; breaking, for the first time, our rule not to dine on holiday in the same place.
The food was fantastic. We enjoyed pizza the first night and the "fish of the day" set menu on our second visit. Excellently presented and freshly cooked, a delightful experience.
The service was top-notch and speedy even on a packed Saturday night. The staff are friendly and very patient with our very poor attempts at Italian (my female partner asking to visit the gents toilets as one famous example), while they could barely contain their amusement, they replied in English and were more than happy to accommodate us. Venetico is evidently very inexperienced with British tourists so the service we received here was very positive indeed.
We would highly recommend this restaurant. Grazie mille, ci torneremo.
