La consuetudine che lo accomuna agli altri ristoranti della zona , è l'impegno a proporre una cucina discretamente ricercata. I prezzi che vedete sul menù sono comprensivi di coperto. Potete assaggiare una cucina con prodotti freschi ma a contrastare la buona presentazione dei piatti è il contenuto , di qualità , ma veramente ridotto. Io credo che alzarsi da tavolo con un po' di appetito va bene ma qualche pezzo in più sarebbe l'optimus. Tutto sommato va bene. Rimarco il lavoro estenuante dei ragazzi che servono ai tavoli. La cucina dista oltre i 20 metri dal piccolo spazio, in salita , adibito alla ristorazione....... Small restaurant overlooking the port, less than 100 meters. Interno bellissimo con affreschi e cupole, ma noi abbiamo cenato all'esterno. Antipasto gradito, due primi sensazionali ( ravioli ripieni e gnocchi zucca e vongole), abbiamo preso una frittura e tre dolci (semifreddo e caprese eccezionali), purtroppo non c'erano i tre babà. Greco di Tufo buonissimo. Consigliato In a quiet glimpse of medieval Gaeta a cute restaurant with a kind and friendly staff. Beautiful interior with frescoes and domes, but we dined outside. Appetizer appreciated, two sensational first courses (stuffed ravioli and gnocchi with pumpkin and clams), we had a fry and three desserts (exceptional semifreddo and caprese), unfortunately there were no three babas. Abbiamo preso due antipasti di pesce impiattati bene freschi e buonissimi. Come pescato del giorno un dentice da 9 etti. Dolci anch’essi buonissimi. Totale 160€circa. Ci sta. In Liguria sarebbe costato di più. Unica pecca la lentezza del servizio: quasi 1h per la prima portata. Ci tornerei subito però I put 5 stars because it absolutely does not deserve 4.1. Il menù non è molto variegato, ma non è una nota negativa perché i piatti sono decisamente squisiti. La sua cucina è contemporanea ma con le radici ben piantate nella tradizione. Il servizio è ottimo e la selezione di vini è discreta. I think they need another waiter because there was only the manager and one waiter who was really running everywhere to serve all the tables, he did a great job to keep the situation under control. Only one small problem… At the end of our meal there was a water added to our bill by mistake (no big problem) but I heard the manager telling off the waiter…. In my opinion it was just a small mistake, the waiter had done an excellent job all night and in my experience of the service industry you should never tell off staff in front of customers.
