Antipasti e pizza molto buoni. Abbiamo fatto la cena dei 100 giorni e all'ultimo tre persone non sono potute venire e ci hanno fatto pagare lo stesso anche per loro approfittandosi che si trattasse di ragazzi. Perdipiú il menú offertoci era non veritiero, con giro pizza illimitato su una trentina di persone non sono arrivate nemmeno 10 pizze, caffè e amari della casa mai visti (compresi nel menù). Abbiamo mangiato poco e nulla e buttato soldi anche per persone che non sono venute. I strongly advise against. Siamo in un vicolo ai margini del centro ed è chiaro che la meta non raccoglie passanti ma avventori che vanno di proposito. Forte il richiamo di quello che vuole ricordare. Il nome suscita la curiosità appagata con prontezza: l’antico teatro dal centenario della sua apertura il 23 agosto del 1928 prende il nome dal compositore foggiano Umberto Giordano, lo stesso che durante la sua adolescenza qui imparava le basi della musica. Ci sistemiamo all'esterno del locale, nel vicoletto interamene adibito a dehors deliziosamente allestito dove veniamo subito serviti, quanto meno del beverage. Pizze spettacolari soprattutto quella del “Casaro” con i bordi ripieni al formaggio. Dopo le pizze ci è stato gentilmente offerto un meraviglioso Cherry. La qualità del cibo è a livelli alti, soprattutto, è pagata il giusto (cosa rara di questi tempi). In buona sostanza, se si bada alla quantità, allo "svago sostenibile" tralasciando le pretese veicolate dai format televisivi, si può mangiare a prezzi contenuti una pizza (e tanto altro) cotta nel forno a legna. Nel complesso però esperienza molto positiva, merita una visita. First time in Foggia for a reunion, this place is recommended to us by a Foggia doc. The name arouses curiosity promptly satisfied: from the centenary of its opening on 23 August 1928, the ancient theater takes its name from the Foggia composer Umberto Giordano, the same one who learned the basics of music here during his adolescence. We settle outside the restaurant, in the alley entirely used as a delightfully set up terrace where we are immediately served, at least of the beverage. Spectacular pizzas especially that of the "Casaro" with edges stuffed with cheese. After the pizzas we were kindly offered a wonderful Cherry. The quality of the food is at a high level, above all, it is paid right (which is rare these days). Basically, if you pay attention to quantity, to "sustainable entertainment", leaving aside the demands conveyed by television formats, you can eat pizza (and much more) cooked in a wood oven at reasonable prices. Overall however very positive experience, worth a visit.
