★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Book table in advance, the place is popular. We tried the mixed starter, pasta dishes, a tuna tartar, grilled prawns, a fondant, a pannacotta. The food was somewhat hit and miss. Some dishes were quite good whilst others fairly average. The service was very messy, non attentive and slow...but then again, it's typical for many Italian places. Verdict: a decent trattoria for the area worth considering if you are nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were recommended to try out this restaurant and unfortunately, unknowingly turned up without a reservation. However, the maître d kindly offered us a table inside the restaurant. Unfortunately, since it was in the back, our cellphone service didn’t work and we couldn’t seem to connect to the complementary WiFi - the net connection was needed since the menus were available only through their QR code. This did lead to a bit of frustration on both sides but eventually it got sorted out and we could order.
They kindly prepared a pasta pomodoro for our preschooler, which though she enjoyed, couldn’t finish as it was way past her bedtime.
We tried out an antipasto and 2 types of pizzas that were scrumptious!
Unfortunately, we were also tired and couldn’t quite enjoy this lovely restaurant’s offerings fully. Next time, we’d probably have a rest before as since the meals are freshly prepared tend to take time to be delivered to the table.
My other gripe, besides the being able to connect to access the menu, is that we couldn’t pay electronically since the terminal wasn’t working due to a lack of connection. Luckily, we had just the right amount of cash on hand to pay the tab.

When you arrive you are fascinated by the beauty of the location: tables are arranged in a nice and cozy square with an ancient church and its bell tower ringing the hours and the half. Food is delicious: I tried the Peperone ripieno and then Fior di Puglia (tortelli). Oh, flavours are so good!! And to finish a went with the dessert: spumone. I cannot describe it, just go there and try it.
