★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tappa ormai fondamentale quando ci rechiamo in Campania ,con la mia famiglia, pranzare o cenare in questo accogliente ristorante , sia per la gentilezza che per la professionalità dei proprietari la Signora Agata e il Signor Gianni , che di tutto lo staff ,ma soprattutto per la loro genuina e particolare cucina , l’ attenzione per gli ingredienti usati , esclusivamente locali , dal vino al liquore alla mela annurca ,dai formaggi , alle carni scelte con particolare attenzione . Tutto fa ricordare il gusto ormai un po’ perso delle tradizioni locali della cucina italiana , ma all’Antico Borgo i sapori , gli odori e la vista vengono colmati dalla cura e l’attenzione di chi ci lavora con la passione , il cuore e l’amore per il proprio lavoro . Per chi poi è incuriosito dalla struttura situata nel borgo antico , la proprietaria Signora Agata , non lesina certo di raccontare i particolari e di mostrare anche le zone nascoste e interessanti del loro caratteristico locale . Per chi ne avesse la possibilità sarebbe un vero peccato non passare a scoprire le loro prelibatezze e la storia della tradizione locale e del posto in cui vi accoglieranno con grande professionalità . Ps.prossima volta mi fermerò a cena per gustare le loro favolose pizze , da impasto a lunga lievitazione , ad alta digeribilità e sfornate da abili e sapienti mani del signor Vincenzo .
 A fundamental step when we go to Campania, with my family, to have lunch or dinner in this welcoming restaurant, both for the kindness and professionalism of the owners, Mrs. Agata and Mr. Gianni, and of all the staff, but above all for the their genuine and particular cuisine, the attention to the ingredients used, exclusively local, from wine to annurca apple liqueur, from cheeses to meats chosen with particular attention. Everything reminds us of the now somewhat lost taste of the local traditions of Italian cuisine, but at the Antico Borgo the flavors, smells and sight are filled with the care and attention of those who work there with passion, heart and soul. love for one's work. For those who are intrigued by the structure located in the ancient village, the owner Mrs. Agata certainly does not hesitate to tell the details and also to show the hidden and interesting areas of their characteristic restaurant. For those who have the opportunity, it would be a real shame not to go and discover their delicacies and the history of the local tradition and the place where they will welcome you with great professionalism. Ps. Next time I will stop for dinner to taste their fabulous pizzas, from dough to long leavening, highly digestible and baked by the skilled and expert hands of Mr. Vincenzo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a mixed experience. The mixed antipasti were excellent and my primo of ravioli was very tasty. However, both plates of roast wild boar were very dry on the edges and undercooked inside. The offer of a substitute was made but declined, and the final bill wasn't adjusted for the two main courses that were poor. I'll likely go again, as previous meals here have been tasty, but today wasn't a consistently good day in the kitchen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ located close the main park area, today I enjoyed lunch at this restaurant. Quality local food, very suggested if you are traveling in Caserta or Benevento regions. Very suggested the Babà sweet with “Annurca” apple liquor.
