Merita una sosta, torneremo sicuramente anche per acquistare i prodotti tipici da portare a casa, consigliato! I don't recommend the appetizer also because the fried foods were not made by them except the octopus meatballs ... the first and second courses very good and excellent prices!

Personale gentile e tempi di attesa veramente bassi fanno guadagnare al locale il massimo delle stelle. All'interno del locale sono inoltre sono disponibili svariati prodotti tipici salentini (taralli, friselle, olive sott'olio, olio evo, vini ecc.) È consigliabile la prenotazione in quanto nel periodo di maggior afflusso turistico la disponibilità dei tavoli è molto limitata. We had a really good dinner with very tasty seafood dishes. Portions not large but fair prices. Kind staff and very low waiting times make the restaurant the best of the stars. Inside the restaurant there are also various typical Salento products (taralli, friselle, olives in oil, extra virgin olive oil, wines, etc.) It is advisable to book as in the period of greatest tourist influx the availability of the tables is very limited.

Prenotato x le 22 ma seduti alle 22.40, cambiato tavolo x fare posto ad una tavolata e va bene... Ordinato tagliere formaggi e salumi con ottimi prodotti locali e un quarto di rosè. Orecchiette con cime di rapa buone ma ciciri e tria, lasciava un pò a desiderare. Personale gentile e cordiale ma, a mio parere, un pò lento. Well but not very well, we would have caught the wrong evening being mid-August. Booked for 10pm but sat at 10.40pm, changed table to make room for a table and that's fine ... Ordered cheese and salami platter with excellent local products and a quarter of rosé. Orecchiette with turnip greens good but ciciri and tria, left something to be desired. Nice and friendly staff but, in my opinion, a bit slow.

Tutte e tre le sere siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti dall’altissima qualità del cibo, sia di terra che di mare, e dal servizio a dir poco eccezionale. L’ultima sera abbiamo prenotato per le 22 e nonostante il locale pienissimo siamo stati fatti accomodare precisamente all’ora concordata e abbiamo gustato un’ottima cena, come al solito. Nota a margine la cordialità e professionalità del personale a gestire anche i clienti più maleducati e impazienti che non si rendono conto della difficoltà di gestire un servizio con locale pieno. In our week in Torre San Giovanni we dined in this place three evenings. All three evenings we were fully satisfied by the very high quality of the food, both from land and sea, and by the exceptional service to say the least. On the last evening we booked for 10pm and despite the very busy place we were seated precisely at the agreed time and enjoyed an excellent dinner, as usual. Note on the sidelines the friendliness and professionalism of the staff to manage even the most rude and impatient customers who do not realize the difficulty of managing a service with a full room.

Ottima la frittura non unta...mancava qualche gambero ma gustosissima. I gamberoni bionissimi e le orecchiette al pomodoro superlative Ci ripasserò l anno prossimo sicuramente... E pensare che per anni non avevo mai preso in considerazione il locale. Mansione speciale alla cameriera con i capelli neri e tattoo semplicemente perfetta nel suo servizio e gentilezza . Gentilezza e professionalità sono comunque di casa ..... A modest but well-kept venue. The food is excellent but the quantities of the first courses, especially if they cost 18 euros, should be a little more abundant. Excellent fried not greasy ... some shrimp was missing but very tasty. The very blond prawns and the superlative orecchiette with tomato I'll be back next year for sure ... And to think that for years I had never considered the place. Special duty to the waitress with black hair and tattoo simply perfect in her service and kindness. Kindness and professionalism are still at home .....
