Per la pausa pranzo direi ok ma....consiglio al proprietario di usare un vassoio quando esce dalla cucina con la carne da cuocere..non è igienico averla nelle mani..dopo aver fatto altre cose .consiglio alla cameriera che resetta i tavoli dopo aver mangiato di prendere e portare i bicchieri puliti senza infilare le dita nel bicchiere..insomma un po di igiene non farebbe male ...per il resto consigliato

Se cercate la stella Michelin andate oltre ma se volete piatti senza tanti orpelli e godere dell'ospitalità veneta allora avete fatto centro. Le trattorie di una volta quelle ruspanti, servizio casereccio, qualità del cibo da casa della nonna ed il grande camino con la carne che sfrigola sulla griglia cotta al momento

La vista appena si entra è questa..il fascino del caminetto è una cosa eccezionale. La carne cotta rigorosamente alla brace e con 0 odore nella stanza. Fermato per pranzo di lavoro, menù non molto ricco, però la carne è eccezionale, prezzo nella norma e servizio molto rapido. Si consiglia la prenotazione perche il posto è un po' piccolo e molto conosciuto. Ci ritornerò di sicuro.

UPDATE001: DROPPING FROM 5 STARS TO 2 STARS. Finally went back to my favorite lunch place in Vicenza. Food was great and people were friendly. However, they charged us €20 per person. That is €7 more than before. I know CoVID hurt a lot of local business, but €20 for set menu is too much. Even worse, I was told that other guests did not pay €20 (I didn't verify this information). So I was disappointed. I like the food, but not worth €20 for lunch. I won't be returning. PASSANDO DA 5 STELLE A 2 STELLA. Finalmente sono tornato nel mio posto preferito per il pranzo a Vicenza. Il cibo era ottimo e le persone erano amichevoli. Tuttavia, ci hanno fatto pagare € 20 a persona. Sono 7 euro in più rispetto a prima. So che il CoVID ha danneggiato molte attività locali, ma € 20 per il menu fisso sono troppi. Ancora peggio, mi è stato detto che altri ospiti non hanno pagato € 20 (non ho verificato questa informazione). Quindi sono rimasto deluso. Mi piace il cibo, ma non vale € 20 per il pranzo. non tornerò. *************************** One of my two favorite lunch places in Vicenza. FOOD: I'd say they have the best grilled meat for lunch. Whether beef or pork, they are always cooked perfect/same: Not burnt, and still tender and juicy. They also have one of the best spaghetti with ragu sauce. Doesn't look a lot but perfectly seasoned. (personal opinion, of course) PRICE: €13 included spaghetti, salad/vegetables, meat, water, wine, and caffe. A little more than an average FISSO menu, but worth the extra €2 in my opinion. LOCATION: A little tricky to get there but with Google map, you should not have any problem. If you get there after 12:15, then good chance you won't get to eat (no table). Limited parking, and they fill up fast. SERVICE: Place gets packed during lunch so servers are busy. But services are quick. Lastly, they don't speak english well, so I recommend ordering spaghetti and then pork chop or beef. If you like it, then you could try ordering something else next time. OVERALL: I enjoy eating lunch here so 5 stars for being my top lunch place in Vicenza.
