Don't be fooled by the degraded neighborhood, the concrete brutality of the buildings around, this is a through and through traditional Milanese restaurant that makes no compromise when it comes to quality and service. The building is a salvaged old farm that in the last 40 years has been drowned in one of the worst quarters in Milano. Right at the end of tramline 3, the last thing you'd expect is to eat truly traditional Milanese cuisine, immersed in a rustic ambience, listening to jazz (not live, though). Try the Elephant Ear cotoletta, if you are very hungry. Don't forget to eat the risotto.
Not cheap but worth every penny.

A very elegant location, an old restored farmhouse, growing inside of the famous and peripheral neighborhood Gratosoglio, great selection of wines, delicious food and qualified stuff.
The garden, the lights, the old-fashioned decor have been thought to give you the best experience for a night in a non tourist area of Milan.

The place is amazingly decorated, at night it has a magical vibe that is difficult to explain. The food is delicious, full of taste and portions are quite generous. We tried the costoletta (a must) and the truffle pasta (divine). The sommelier recommended a very nice wine at a very reasonable price. Desserts are all excellent, but their speciality is a homemade chocolate cake that blew me out of my shoes.
Alessia is the owner and the heart of the place, and she is the most charming host you can imagine.
An out-of-the-world experience.
