★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant, with a fun vintage decor everywhere: it feels cozy and a little pub-like, but without the bother of noisy music. We were a small group of 4, and enjoyed a long conversation over dinner. The food was fresh and well cooked: we had an amazing fillet mignon and a decadent dessert (lava cake for me: yummy!). The price is average, the service is corteous and, what I appreciated, the waiters never seemed too intrusive.

Red wine was also verry good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Cascina Rossino many times for lunch when working with colleagues in Vimercate. It's a gem! Not far from town, but far enough away, stepping a little into the past (phones and television set from decades ago), a very comfortable place. Now the cuisine: perfectly prepared, bringing tears to an American's eyes. Will be back again! Grazie mille per tutti!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was lucky enough to visit this tiny but cozy place, tucked in the middle of a field on the outskirts of Milan. I have friends who are locals in Ornago who brought me here.
Good, comforting food and service. The staff were kind enough to try to speak in English with me, even though they didn't have to.
Would recommend.

Tucked away on the outskirts, this is traditional Italian cooking in the good way with good ingredients and attention to detail - good taste, good-sized portions, all wrapped up in a cozy, homey atmosphere that makes you feel like you came to dinner with family or an old friend.
Well-visited too with people having a good time - this was an unexpectedly good (and delicious) experience.
