Portargli via una sua opera ha il retrogusto di un furto al museo, ma anche del completo possesso culturale, dal momento che dell’originale di quella copia è stato in grado di dirvi storia, contesto e tecnica. Entrare nel suo magazzino laboratorio è un esperienza unica, complemento ideale della scontata visita al “MARTA”. Mi piace pensare che non sia l’unico né l’ultimo capace di dare carne e tempo alla storia.
Giuseppe Anti is not a merchant, he is a craftsman encapsulated in an “other” time. Taking away one of his works has the aftertaste of a theft from the museum, but also of complete cultural possession, since he was able to tell you the history, context and technique of the original of that copy. Entering his laboratory warehouse is a unique experience, an ideal complement to the obvious visit to the “MARTA”. I like to think that he is neither the only nor the last capable of giving flesh and time to history.
