★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wandelroute van ongeveer 4,5km rond het mooie Orvieto, langsheen de tufsteen rotsen en buiten de stadsmuren. De route is redelijk goed bewegwijzerd met wit/rood merkteken en kan in beide richtingen gewandeld worden. Af en toe wel serieus stijgend en dalend, dus je moet over een zeker uithouding beschikken !
Wij zijn vertrokken aan Rocca Albornoziana en deden de wandeling in september 2020. Op zich zijn er enkel natuur en rotsen te zien, niet zoveel bijzonders to anders...
Walking route of about 4.5 km around the beautiful Orvieto, along the tuff rocks and outside the city walls. The route is reasonably well signposted with white/red markings and can be walked in either direction. Occasionally serious ascending and descending, so you must have a certain stamina!
We started from Rocca Albornoziana and did the walk in September 2020. In itself there are only nature and rocks to see, not that much special...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attenzione: dicono tutti che è molto semplice, ma il percorso è fatto da assi di legno abbastanza distanziate; per cui col cane siamo dovute tornare indietro. Immagino che anche persone con problemi deambulatori anche minimi facciano fatica.
Attention: everyone says it is very simple, but the path is made up of fairly spaced wooden planks; so we had to go back with the dog. I imagine that even people with even minimal walking problems struggle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le attrazioni durante il percorso NON ERANO ACCESSIBILI. i punti dove il percorso sarebbe dovuto svoltare verso di esse sono completamenti bloccati dalla vegetazione. Il paesaggio è di per sé bellissimo, ma il tragitto è poco curato e mal segnalato. il percorso finisce spesso in strade trafficate e le svolte del percorso sono spesso mal segnalate. Il percorso non è eccessivamente difficile ed è davvero affascinante,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We'd been in the car for quite some time, which made this hike really refreshing and great. After seeing the inside of Orvieto, it's nice to do at least some of this path around the town. Most is just flat, but the slope and scenery changes a bit
