Proprio oggi sono dovuta andare al pronto soccorso (dopo che anche la guardia medica non visita bambini di 4 anni) la dottoressa dell’accettazione in ospedale che dopo aver sentito la MIA ipotesi diagnostica evita di visitare il bambino perché lei la varicella non l’ha passata. Così ti infilano in uno sgabuzzino che puzza di feci per evitare possibili contagi ma nel frattempo hai barelle con persone anziane con attacchi epilettici, gente con varie ferite e l’aria condizionata calda a palla che amplifica la puzza lì dentro. Non una finestra. Passano due ore, la pediatra dicono sia scesa ma davanti a te ci sono altri 20 bambini. Nel frattempo comincia a tornargli la febbre, ha sete ma non puoi prendere una bottiglietta d’acqua perché significherebbe uscire dallo stanzino e contagiare tutti. E' la piacevole conferma che la Sanità Pubblica in mezzo a mille difficoltà offre tanto e spesso per merito esclusivo di chi ci lavora !
