The ????? stars "Alta Fiumara Resort & SPA" - located in Villa San Giovanni, near Reggio Calabria - is an outstanding and quite spot with a breathtaking views. I enjoyed my time in a one of most beautiful place I have ever seen in my life: extraordinary hospitality, stunning environment, superb service and great restaurant.
The cuisine was amazing! I ate marinated swordfish in bergamot juice; agnolotti pasta with shrimp and pistachio and the original bergamotto tiramisù.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a very nice place to get pampered. The view is spectacular you can see the Costa Viola wich is amazing. Every time I get a chance I go there as I really enjoy it. They have inside and outside pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. If you want you can also do massage as they have a vast selection where to choose from. After you finished the percorso you can relax enjoying a complimentary tisana which is very tasty and refreshing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place with fabulous views of sunrise and sunset over the water on the Straits of Messina. Lots of boating activity and cruise ships passing by. Very quiet. Great food and friendly staff. It's out of the way so not much to do in the evenings.
