Arricchita da un orto a disposizione, di piscina e la possibilità di usare bici mountain bike e e-bike sempre a disposizione. I gestori sono una coppia incantevole. Assolutamente consigliato. E imperdibile lo zafferano! I came back here after 3 years, and even more beautiful. Relaxing location, in a beautiful area, surrounded by mountains. Enriched by a vegetable garden available, a swimming pool and the possibility of using mountain bikes and e-bikes always available. The managers are a lovely couple. Absolutely recommended. And unmissable saffron!

Fare turismo deve essere passione e "vocazione" e bisogna dire che i bravi gestori delle Vecchie Querce di passione per l'ospitalita' e per la valorizzazione dei loro borghi ne hanno da vendere. Ottime possibilta' offerte da un territorio ricco di attrattive: borghi, castelli, grotte, sentieri naturalistici, rafting, cime, chiese storiche e altro ancora. Insomma: per tutti coloro che puntano alle bellezze naturali e storiche, piuttosto che al lusso e facili attrattive di massa. Un borgo arcano e disperso nella natura, ristrutturato con l'arte di un lavoro ostinato. Siamo stati accolti dal gentilissimo Giorgio, poeta nel narrarci i luoghi meravigliosi che hanno illuminato la sua vita. Casa pulitissima, giardino immenso e orto curato con maestria. Esperienza consigliatissima in grado di celebrare l'infinita bellezza di questi luoghi. There are no words to describe the wonder in which we immersed ourselves. An arcane village and lost in nature, renovated with the art of obstinate work. We were greeted by the very kind Giorgio, poet in telling us about the wonderful places that illuminated his life. Spotless house, immense garden and well-kept vegetable garden. Highly recommended experience able to celebrate the infinite beauty of these places.

Coccolati dalla natura e dalla cordialità dei gestori, Giorgio e Stefania, che con il loro atteggiamento ospitale ed amichevole riescono a mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti e a creare un'atmosfera familiare. Si ha a disposizione un ampio giardino con piscinetta, dove i bimbi possono piacevolmente socializzare e giocare. Giorgio e Stefania sono molto attenti e pronti a soddisfare le necessità degli ospiti e a dare preziose indicazioni sui posti più belli da visitare. La zona offre molte attrattive: borghi medievali (veri gioielli), castelli, grotte sotterranee, possibilità di andare in canoa lungo fiumi dalle limpide acque, meravigliosi boschi e molto altro. Complimenti. Regenerating place. Pampered by nature and the friendliness of the managers, Giorgio and Stefania, who with their hospitable and friendly attitude manage to put guests at ease and create a family atmosphere. There is a large garden with a swimming pool, where children can pleasantly socialize and play. Giorgio and Stefania are very attentive and ready to satisfy the needs of guests and to give valuable information on the most beautiful places to visit. The area offers many attractions: medieval villages (real jewels), castles, underground caves, the possibility of canoeing along rivers with clear waters, wonderful woods and much more. Compliments.

Gli appartamenti sono un po' spartani ma con tutti i confort , particolari nella struttura interna ma belli per questo. Il gestore, Giorgio, è sempre disponibile e da San Pio si raggiunge tutto l'Abruzzo che, volendo, potete girare in ebike o asino, organizzando il giro da qui. Una vacanza in una regione splendida da vivere a contatto con la natura Lovely place still under renovation. The apartments are a bit spartan but with all the comforts, particular in the internal structure but beautiful for this. The manager, Giorgio, is always available and from San Pio you can reach all of Abruzzo which, if you want, you can ride by ebike or donkey, organizing the tour from here. A holiday in a splendid region to live in contact with nature
A	Alan Ott on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here two summers ago. The experience is like travelling back in time to an ancient medieval village, in the midst of restoration. Quiet, close to nature, and farm land, it is a good base to explore Abruzzo. The accommodation was fine, but it was more about the overall experience of the ancient village. The host was very friendly and provided lots of guidance regarding what to see and where to eat. We definitely would go back.
