★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo stati a Castel di Tora una sola notte, la prima tappa del nostro cammino di San Benedetto con altri 2 compagni di viaggio (in totale 4 persone). Per questo motivo la coppia di amici ha dimorato nell'appartamento di Via Turano mentre io e mio marito in un'altra abitazione dei medesimi proprietari. Gli stessi abitano al piano superiore. Giampaolo e la moglie sono due persone squisite, gentili e disponibili. Il mattino successivo dovevano partire per un trekking ma ci hanno lasciato la disponibilità della loro cucina per la colazione da fare assieme ai nostri amici. Abbiamo assaggiato le loro marmellate fatte in casa (confettura di uva fragola eccezionale!) e goduto della meravigliosa vista lago dal terrazzo.
Peccato essere rimasti solo un giorno!
We stayed in Castel di Tora just one night, the first stop on our journey to San Benedetto with 2 other travel companions (in total 4 people). For this reason the couple of friends lived in the apartment in Via Turano while my husband and I in another house of the same owners. They live on the upper floor. Giampaolo and his wife are two exquisite, kind and helpful people. The next morning they had to leave for a trek but they left us the availability of their kitchen for breakfast to do with our friends. We tasted their homemade jams (exceptional strawberry grape jam!) And enjoyed the wonderful lake view from the terrace.
Too bad we only stayed one day!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un piccolo appartamento confortevole con una bella vista sul lago. L’abbiamo trovato ben riscaldato all’ arrivo, come richiesto. L’host fornisce tante informazioni utili su posti da visitare nei dintorni, dove mangiare e comprare prodotti tipici... gli spunti non mancano di certo. Eravamo dalle parti di Castel di Tora per fare un trekking sul monte Cervia, è una zona ricca di bei percorsi naturalistici.
A small comfortable apartment with a nice view of the lake. We found it well heated upon arrival, as requested. The host provides a lot of useful information on places to visit in the surrounding area, where to eat and buy typical products ... there is certainly no shortage of ideas. We were from the parts of Castel di Tora to go trekking on Mount Cervia, it is an area full of beautiful nature trails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our best experience in Italy! We chose to stay in the village the night before our hike, adding to the overall experience. The Airbnb accommodations of our guide were excellent. Very clean, comfortable, amazing views and had everything we needed. My entire family loved our stay and the hike… the views, exploration of a deserted village, and authentic lunch was beyond expectations. Paolo, was so easy to communicate with and very informative. We met some wonderful people in our group, as well. I highly recommend it! My family, including teen daughters, all agreed it was our favorite activity while visiting Italy!

It is a very nice stone house with a splendid panoramic lake view, which provides a true home feeling due to the great level of details elaborated by the caring hosts, Paolo and Viola. They have thought about everything: from the fully equipped kitchen, the fire place with wood provided, the electric covers warming the beds, the board games and Alexa experience, which my family enjoyed very much. A plenty of information is provided about the surroundings and nice places to visit and more can come from the hosts upon request. We very much appreciated that the house allowed pets. Parking place, free of charge, was available vey near the place. We were also impressed by the precise instructions that we got from the host regarding reaching the location by car and which were extremely helpful. The house, the lake and its surroundings are truly amazing and we would love to visit them again, both in summer and winter!!!
