Alfonso and Anna were perfect from start to finish. Incredible service and captured fantastic photographs for our wedding day, they far exceeded our expectations and have given us some brilliant photos to remember our special day.

When we decided to get married again (to each other, again), it was easy to pick Sorrento for the ceremony – one look at the Chiostro di San Francesco and we couldn’t imagine a more beautiful setting. But because we were having a destination wedding and most of our families would not be attending, the photos of the day took on even more significance than they would normally have. Choosing a photographer was almost a harder decision than the reception venue, the flowers, or the dress! We considered a lot of different photographers, but we kept coming back to Alfonso’s work. There was just something about the stories you told of the other couples on the website that spoke to us. But even then, there was a lot of apprehension – we hoped our photos would look as beautiful, but we couldn’t be sure that we’d made the right decision. Turns out, we did choose correctly. Long before the wedding day, when we were still thousands of miles away from Italy, Carmen took a great deal of time listening to our story and our expectations. She took our (many!) questions to Alfonso and got us meaningful answers. She even met up with us a few days before the wedding day, just to put us at ease. The day of the wedding, we had five people getting dressed in two hotel rooms. In addition, Piero Mansi was there to style the bride’s and bridesmaids’ hair and Zoe Graham was there to do our makeup. So adding three more people – Alfonso, Carmen, and Gaetano – should have been a tight fit! But that’s where the professionalism of the team first became apparent. They managed to document so much without crowding us or interfering. That continued throughout the day – there were moments we were aware that there were photographers milling around, but for the most part, their presence was so subtle that the day still felt very private and intimate. There are a lot of posed moments on a wedding day, so we knew roughly what the camera should have seen. But what left us stunned upon seeing our proofs was how many of the private, meaningful, unforgettable moments Alfonso managed to capture. In fact, there were scenes from the day that we didn’t even realize were important until we saw the preview. Each of our children’s personalities shine through in Alfonso’s photos. The spirit of the city of Sorrento as we walked the streets is present in the pictures. Even the unique relationship that we share – sardonic, competitive, yet filled with history and unbreakable bonds – was somehow captured by Alfonso’s lens. We couldn’t have asked for a more effortless process or for more magical images of the best day of our lives. In fact, we look forward to having Alfonso take anniversary photos of us on our next trip to Italy. We have nothing but gratitude and admiration for what is truly the best wedding photography team on earth!

Alfonso and his team were so fantastic on our wedding day. They captured the day perfectly with beautiful natural shots. They were subtle and almost unnoticeable which helped all of our guests to relax and enjoy the day. We are so pleased we get to treasure all of the photos forever as it's so hard to pick the best ones! We are so grateful we chose Alfonso for our wedding photographer!!! My husband and I eloped in Ravello. We found Alfonso on Instagram and quickly fell in love with his stunning photos and use of light. He is truly talented!!! We booked with him and Anna for our wedding. Before we even picked the wedding planner, venue, or date we fell in love with Alfonso's work. Lucky for us he was available to shoot our dream wedding in Positano. From the first email to Carmen, we felt at ease and comfortable with our decision to hire Alfonso and his team. We went into our wedding knowing a photographer could either make or break the whole day and I am thrilled to say that Alfonso blew our high expectations out of the water. Alfonso, and his team, showed up on time and ready to shoot. Throughout the whole day they made us feel comfortable with every shot and communicated with us so that he could capture the perfect shot. If anyone has any qualms or nerves about feeling awkward in front of the camera, Alfonso does a great job of just being in the moment and making everything feel natural. As for the results, our family and friends haven't stopped talking about these stunning pictures for months and I am still wiping away the tears.... everything was just perfect. The album and video perfectly capture the day and summarize it in a way that words could not, as we watched the video we felt like we were reliving that awesome day all over again. The hardest part of the whole process was trying to narrow down which pictures to use, as they are all amazing. As we flipped through the pictures we were amazed by the quality and professionalism of each photo. We could not imagine our wedding day without this wonderful team to capture every moment of it and we cannot express how thrilled we are with the results, thanks to all of your hard work!

Alfonso done an amazing job of documenting our special day! He was extremely professional and down to earth which made our photographs on the day so much easier.
