★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho provato gli strumenti del maestro Urso ,e sono rimasto entusiasta,per la bellezza ma sopratutto per il suono. I suoi 2 violini provati avevano molti armonici ,grande suono ma anche buonissima qualita.

Non sono in grado di valutarlo criticamente come abilità liutistiche, ma sembra molto appassionato del suo lavoro ed è uno dei due allievi del più bravo liutaio Bolognese della generazione precedente.
I had him put a relatively valuable violin in place, and he showed a lot of care and preparation. I am not able to critically evaluate it as a lute skill, but he seems very passionate about his work and is one of the two students of the best Bolognese luthier of the previous generation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Alessandro Urso è un maestro liutaio finissimo e un ottimo violinista, ma oltre a ciò - e forse prima di tutto... - una persona di squisita gentilezza che ama profondamente il suo lavoro e che ti accoglie nella sua bella bottega amichevolmente, all'occorrenza accompagnando con pazienza grandi e piccini alla scoperta delle magie del violino e della liuteria. È quello che è successo a noi ieri alla festa di via Rialto: ora due bimbe di 9 anni e una ragazzina di 14 sanno come si costruisce un violino. E anche noi grandi. Cinque stelle pienissime.
Alessandro Urso is a very fine master violin maker and an excellent violinist, but besides that - and perhaps first of all ... - a person of exquisite kindness who deeply loves his work and who welcomes you in his beautiful workshop amicably, if necessary patiently accompanying young and old to discover the magic of violin and violin making. This is what happened to us yesterday at the party in via Rialto: now two 9 year old girls and a 14 year old girl know how to build a violin. And we adults too. Five full stars.
