Il posto è bellissimo e l’assortimento è notevole, un paradiso per chi come me ama l’alcol di qualità. Il ragazzo che ci lavora è super competente e molto disponibile, si vede proprio che lo fa con passione ... è stata una bella sorpresa entrare solo per comprare una bottiglia ed uscire con la consapevolezza di ciò che si è comprato. Inoltre i prezzi sono molto vantaggiosi, come del resto lo sono anche da Bernabei, cosa volere di più? Veramente una piacevole scoperta che d’ora in poi diventerà il mio punto di riferimento per i distillati di qualità.
I discovered by chance this place, also by Bernabei, because I needed a super alcoholic to give away. The place is beautiful and the assortment is remarkable, a paradise for those like me who love quality alcohol. The guy who works there is super competent and very helpful, you can see that he does it with passion ... it was a nice surprise to come in just to buy a bottle and go out with the awareness of what you bought. Furthermore, the prices are very advantageous, as indeed are Bernabei's, what more do you want? Truly a pleasant discovery that from now on will become my point of reference for quality distillates.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personalmente la reputo la migliore enoteca su Roma, piccola ma accogliente e ben rifornita. Il vero punto forte però è sicuramente Damiano, un ragazzo gentilissimo e preparatissimo che ogni volta riesce a consigliarmi il giusto liquore o amaro, spiegandomi le varie caratteristiche con passione e pazienza come solo i veri professionisti sanno fare. Infine, i prezzi sono sempre tra i più bassi che sono riuscito a trovare, ennesimo segno di onestà e correttezza. Consiglio vivamente Alchemist per ogni esigenza, dalla bottiglia semplice alla più ricercata e costosa per un regalo o un'occasione speciale.
Personally I think it is the best wine shop in Rome, small but welcoming and well stocked. The real strong point, however, is certainly Damiano, a very kind and well-prepared guy who every time manages to recommend the right liqueur or bitter, explaining the various characteristics with passion and patience as only true professionals can do. Finally, the prices are always among the lowest I could find, yet another sign of honesty and fairness. I highly recommend Alchemist for every need, from the simple bottle to the most sought after and expensive bottle for a gift or a special occasion.
