Tutto di qualità e tradizione.
Il caffè appena macinato ha un profumo inebriante. Prezzi corretti. Cioccolata Baratti, tea cinese, tante coccole olfattive!

Freshly ground coffee has a heady scent. Correct prices. Baratti chocolate, Chinese tea, lots of olfactory pampering!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il locale è un pò più piccolo rispetto al punto vendita di via Cola di Rienzo, ma sempre ben fornito dei suoi prodotti che vanno dall'etnico ai prodotti alimentari italiani di nicchia. Grande scelta nel settore delle farine, spezie, the, infusi, caffè e cioccolate. Speravo di trovare la "Gubana", dolce friulano delle grandi ricorrenze, che vendono, da quanto mi è stato detto, solo nel periodo natalizio. Rimane comunque un locale storico di grande prestigio.
The place is a little smaller than the store in via Cola di Rienzo, but always well stocked with its products ranging from ethnic to niche Italian food products. Great choice in the sector of flours, spices, teas, infusions, coffee and chocolates. I was hoping to find "Gubana", a Friulian dessert for great anniversaries, which, from what I have been told, only sells during the Christmas period. However, it remains a historical place of great prestige.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indeed, this shop is selling pastas, tea, chineese noodles, floor, candies, spicies.. Therefor it is not the best place to shop for italian food, and it is not so huge. The staff was not very welcoming either. I won't go back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love it. Castroni is an old school store in the best sense. The smell in the shop is a kind of timetravel itself. Fresh roasted caffee, sweets and best international sortiment, mixed with a range of fine italien products. Excellent and friendly service with the option to send your basket home.

A lot of products... I mean A LOT. Prices are a Little bit high but they Also have several promotions and discounts the worth... they are not regular but you might be lucky to get one If you try.... after all If there aren’t Any you are not forced to buy
It is a Good shop for various chocolate specialities, especially gifts and figurines
Worth tryin’ only If you are in the are... otherwise don’t waste your time in Rome on this
